Our Curriculum Design

The staff and governors at the school have considered our key drivers in terms of curriculum and created the following intent statement.

Cranham School Curriculum Intent

We operate a 2 year rolling programme in order to ensure coverage of the national curriculum with our mixed aged classes. We use the foundation subjects of history, geography and science as topic drivers. Each year we aim to focus on the past (autumn term), present (spring term) and the future (summer term).

• a topic chosen by children and their parents
• a STEM led topic
• a topic based on a novel
